Harvey Smith, 95, of Waco passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Rosemound cemetery with the Rev. Carl Freeto officiating.
Harvey Lester was born in Liberty Hill, Texas, to the late Harrison and Sulester (Long) Smith. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Continental Trail Ways Bus Line after 32 years.
He was preceded in death by a sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Morene, of Waco; son, Marvin Smith, of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Mike, Pam and Frank; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends.
