10 Feb 1939: Morris L. Wagner, aged 73 years of Fredericksburg one of the best known residents in the northern region of Lebanon County, died at his home this morning at ten o'clock. The deceased was taken III on Monday of this week. Complications of diseases were attributed as the cause of death. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, and was held in high esteem by the populace of that county town. Mr. Wagner was a life long resident of Fredericksburg and for many years was engaged in the plumbing business. He was a cigar maker for many years, and later was in the employ of the Lebanon Valley Iron Company for a period of more than eleven years. He leaves to survive his widow Maria; seven children, Mrs. Paul Arnold, Lebanon; Mrs. Brook Hess, Lebanon; Mrs. Ezra Tobias, Lebanon; Mrs. Fred Spannuth, State College; Mrs. Edward Beuchler, Fredericksburg; Forest Wagner, Womelsdorf, and Agnew J. Wagner, at home; and thirty-two grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
