Chanute — Mrs. Elizabeth Gertrude Brenner, 84, who spent much of her life in the Stark and Erie vicinities, died yesterday at her home here.
She was born in Jay County, Ind., on Nov. 25, 1874, and was married Feb. 12, 1892, at Aurora, Mo., to John R. Brenner. He died several years ago.
The Brenners moved to the Erie area soon after their marriage.
Survivors include three sons, Clyde and Leslie, Chanute, and Raymond, Whittier, Calif.; a niece whom she reared, Mrs. Essie Gilliland of Wichita; two brothers, Charles I. Adams, Bartlesville, and Fred Adams, Blythe, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at the Erie Funeral Home in Erie at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Errie's East Hill Cemetery.
