Mildred E. Stelling
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 9, 2005, Mildred E. Stelling, a retired Missionary/Bible Teacher. Residence, Charleston, SC.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Tuesday morning, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 10:30 o'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Monday between five and seven o'clock.

Miss Stelling was born February 16, 1909 in Charleston a daughter of John E. Stelling and Lottie Eisenman Stelling.

She graduated high school and attended College of Charleston and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. In 1942 she spent a year in Canada as a missionary and Bible Teacher to children.

She spent several times a week at three local retirement homes: Driftwood on the Ashley, Cooper Hall Retirement Home, and the Franke Home.

She has been teaching Bible Classes at Driftwood for 26 years.

She is survived by her brother Wade R. Stelling and his wife Patricia of Charleston, SC; a sister-in-law Marilyn Stelling of Knoxville, TN.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
