James A. Dresbach, died of cerebral hemorrhage, at his home in Pickaway township, three miles form Leistville, Sunday morning, 2d, inst. Since receiving a paralytic stroke, three years since, he has been severely afflicted, and a constant sufferer.

Mr. Dresbach was the eldest child of the late William and Margaret Earnhart Dresbach, born in Saltcreek township, December 8, 1839. He was reared to farm work, and his life was passed as a farmer and stock raiser. He took an active interest in public affairs, served as Township Trustee six years, and also was School Director.

In 1867, the deceased married Miss Mary Alexander, daughter of the late John Alexander, who survives him with three sons, William, James and John Dresbach. He also leaves three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral from the residence, Tuesday afternoon; burial in the Dresbach Cemetery.
