Mr. Doudna died Wednesday, July 27, 1994, at home after a short illness.
He was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Fontana, the son of Oliver K. and Ollie M. Green Doudna. From 1981 to 1990 he lived in Lawrence. He then moved to rural Perry.
Mr. Doudna was a truck driver for several years. For the past 10 months he worked for W.A. Dunbar Trucking, Lawrence. For 13 years he worked for T.L.I Distribution Trucking in Lawrence.
He was a Protestant.
He married Teresa J. Ruff on July 26, 1985, in Tonganoxie. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Lee Allen, Kenneth Linn and Jesse Michael Daniel, all of Tonganoxie; three daughters, Kathy Wainscott, Carla Doudna and Shelly Snow, all of Lawrence; three brothers, Charles Doudna, Chanute, Bill Doudna, Olathe, and Larry Doudna, Osawatomie; two sisters, Ruth Settle, Jacksonville, Ark., and Jane Mock, Oskaloosa; and five grandchildren.
A sister, Bernice Cornett, preceded him in death.
