Carl J Brewster, 35-year-resident of Camas and retired Crown Zellerbach employee, died Friday. He was 78. Mr. Brewster was born Aug. 25, 1898, in Owasso, MI, and last resided at 1205 NW Ash St., Camas. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Camas, Golden Crown Club, Fern Prairie Grange and American Association of Retired Person.
Survivors include a daughter, June Arvidson of Camas; a brother, Glen Brewster of Anchorage; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown's Stoller Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Lyon officiating. Burial will be in Camas Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the heart fund.
