Sikeston - Mildred Ables Parker, 86 years old, of Sikeston died Saturday at the Clearview Nursing Center.
She was born June 19, 1912, in Bardwell, Ky., the daughter of Lawrence W. and Etta Pearl Moore Ables.
She was a housewife and member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Sikeston.
On Sept. 21, 1973, she married William Frank Parker. He survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Jane Oldham Bess; a brother, Cline Ables; and two sisters, Norene Singleton and Alma Gail Henderson; and a granddaughter.
A son, daughter, brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
