DEATH OF A FAITHFUL MAN AND SOLDIER
The funeral services of the late Aaron V. Amerman, who died at his home, 111 Coburn street, last week Tuesday was conducted by Levi Marshall, pastor of the First Disciples' Church at the family residence Thursday at 2 p.m. The burial was conducted by Buckley Post G.A.R. at Memorial Chapel. The deceased was 60 years of age and was a prominent member of Buckley Post. Mr. Amerman had been for several years the mail carrier from the post-office to the depots and was well and favorably known. Last Winter he had a fall on the sidewalk, since which time he never recovered his former health. Aaron V. Amerman enlisted into the service of his county at Jonesville, Mich., Aug. 12, 1862, in Co. G 18th Mich. V.I., and served his country faithfully till he was discharged by reason of disability at Detroit, Mich., May 4, 1863.
