ALLIE BURRIS

Allie Lorene Burris, 94, of Texico, died Saturday at Clovis hospital.

Services were held on Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Texico with the Revs. Rob Hollis and Joel Horne officiating. Burial was in Texico Cemetery.

She was born May 6, 1908, in Montague County, Texas, to W. H. and Ann Andrews.

She married Roscoe Burris Aug. 7, 1926, in Wellington, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Texico.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Wanda Watts, of Wichita, Kan.; and LaJune Gary and Zadene Hubbard, of Oklahoma City; 6 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Keith Scott, Richard and Raymond Hadley, Eddie Smith, Ken Walters, Ronald Watts, Ricky Stanley and David Kube.

Honorary pallbearers were Bud Pearce, Murray White, Dee Brown, J. B. Taylor, Lewis Cooper, Chuck Bradley, Dick smith and Eddie Dunsworth.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Fund at the First Baptist Church of Texico.
