WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Harvey Richard McLaughlin, 67, of Winnsboro were at 10 a.m. today at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home chapel here with the Rev. Gayle Dean and the Rev. Marvin Riger officiating.

Burial was to be in Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert.

Mr. McLaughlin died Saturday at Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a brief illness. He was a native of Amite County, Miss., a resident of Franklin Parish for the past 53 years, a retired farmer and cattleman.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Bartin [sic Barton] McLaughlin of Winnsboro; six sisters, Mrs. Rena Dier of Liberty, Miss.; Mrs. Effie Burt of Brookhaven, Miss.; Mrs. Lydia Lofton of Winnsboro; Mrs. Minervia Lofton of Kermit, Calif.; Mrs. Castella Bartono of Monroe and Mrs. Bernice Collins of Gilbert, and several nieces and nephews.
