Eddie E. Aldrich, 71, retired cutlery employee, died Wednesday at 10:25 p.m. in Fremont Memorial Hospital. He had been ill three months, serious for the last week. He had been admitted to the hospital March 29. Mr Aldrich was born June 16, 1895 in Clyde, the son of Edward G. and Mary Simpson Aldrich. He was educated in Clyde schools. He married Clemma Sager April 25, 1915, she died in 1940. He married Helen Stout May 31, 1941. She survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs Mary L. Baker, Clyde, step-daughters, Mrs Charlene Boughan and Miss Caryl Stout, both of Sarasota, Fla, sisters, Mrs Tod (Susan) Filson, Mrs Bud (Stella) Geren, and Mrs Alice Dinan, all of Clyde, brothers, Doug of Clyde, and Ted, Norwalk. There are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One brother, Clayton preceded him in death. A lifelong resident of Clyde, Mr Aldrich had been employed at the Clyde Cutlery Co. 43 years before his retirement. Friends may call at the Fiser Funeral Home beginning Thursday at 7 p.m. The Rev. Ralph House of St Paul's Lutheran church will conduct services Saturday at 2 p.m. in the mortuary. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
