Deloyd was born Friday April 13, 1909 in Tooele to Joseph Moroni and Agnes Murray England. He married Dorothy Rutledge on Friday, April 13, 1934. Deloyd knew and taught well the value of hard work. Later he worked in Tooele as a dance hall manager, a roller skate rink manager, a grocery store manager and a T.O.D. fireman. Deloyd, as a self-taught man, was an accomplished carpenter, electrician, and plumber. Numerous people have enjoyed his woodworking talents. Deloyd's many handmade crafts were sought after by his family and others. While a senior in high school he purchased land, which later became known as England Avenue in Tooele, and started building and renting houses on this land. He joined his brothers Elmo and Boyd in the operation of England Brothers' Construction Company from 1946 until 1968 when Deloyd chose to focus on his rental properties. During his lifetime Deloyd built many houses, apartments and other business rentals in Tooele. He was an excellent businessman and an outstanding person well known for his kindness and compassion. Deloyd was an active member in the LDS Church. He served continuously as a ward clerk for 38 years with nine bishops.

He is survived by a brother, Boyd England (Tooele), a sister, Ruth McIntyre (St. George), a son, Joe D.
