Abe Easterling, 76, a resident of Rt. 3, Monroe, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Sterlington Clinic after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church, Monroe.

Burial will be in Coax Cemetery in Baskin under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Viola Easterling, Monroe; three sons, Willie Ray Easterling and A. P. Easterling, both of Swartz; Raymond Easterling, Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. W. A. Roberts, Kerrville, Tex., Mrs. Bilbo Martin, Gilbert, and Mrs. Lawrence Nappier, Swartz; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Phillips, Alexandria, and Mrs. Cannie Westbrooks, Pelahatchie, Miss.; 37 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
