Myers, Alwilda M. (Cates) -- Alwilda M. Myers nee Cates, aged 37 years old died on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at her home in Mansfield after an illness of about three weeks with peritonitis. She leaves a husband, Thos. B. Myers Sr., and five children, two sons and three daughters, the oldest son being about 18 years of age. The remains were brought to Butler Friday on No. 4 and the funeral held from the M.P. Church conducted by Rev. Ocheltree. Interment was made in Butler Cemetery. Deceased was born in Wood County about 37 years ago, being the daughter of Anthony Cates, deceased. She was married to Thomas Myers about 20 years ago. The family were residents of Butler up to about three years ago and since resided in Mansfield.

Myers, nee Cates, who died at Mansfield, Wednesday evening, was brought to Butler on train No. 4, Friday forenoon. the remains were taken to the M.P. church, where the funeral services were held, and the burial was made in the Butler Cemetery, on the hill.
