MRS. FRED BLY, Shinglehouse, who passed away at her home, Tuesday following an extended illness, was buried today after rites at the home at two o'clock. Interment was in the family lot in Bell Run Cemetery. Blanche Safford Bly was born February 17, 1870, at Annin Creek, Pa. She resided at Bell Run until about twenty-six years ago when she came to Shinglehouse. In 1903 [1901] she was united in marriage to Fred Bly at Ceres. For many years she was an active member of the First Baptist Church here. Surviving her besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Schoonover, of Randolph, NY., and Miss Hattie Heysham at home; one son, Maynard Bly of Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, Gird Safford of Pine City and Charles Safford of Annin Creek.
