Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2008. As her granddaughter, Sydney stated, "She was the funniest woman in the world". Her renowned humor, wit, and dignity will be missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie Matheson Anderson, daughter of Scott Milne and Adele Adams Matheson was born on October 20, 1925 in Chicago, Ill. She graduated from East High School in 1942 and attended the University of Utah where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She married Rollo Johnson Anderson June 5, 1946 and moved to Provo, Utah. She was a charter member of the Provo Womens Chamber of Commerce, member of the League of Women Voters, Womens Legislative Council, Jolly Stitches, president of Dekatos, and sung with the Chautenettes and the Madsen Memorial Choir. She was a member of the Riverside Country Club.

After Rollo's death in 2001, Bonnie moved to Salt Lake City to be closer to her family. Children - Christine Dyer, Paradise Valley, AZ; and Alan Brent Anderson, Salt Lake City; and three grandchildren Kenneth, Patrick, and Sydney Dyer. Survived by two brothers, Dr. Stephen Matheson and Alan Matheson, treasured Sisters in law; Allene Fowler, Millicent Matheson and Norma Matheson. Preceded in death by her brother Scott Matheson and Lorna Matheson. She leaves behind a host of cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bonnie we will miss you.

Funeral Services will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10 a.m., where also friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Bonnie will be interred in the Parowan City Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her husband and family.
Bonnie loved Parowan and spent much of her youth there with family and friends. It thus became the source for many family stories (over and over).
