Isaac Fair- On February 18th, 1890, at the residence of his son-in-law, C.F. Greenawalt, at Coxestown, Isaac Fair, aged 68 years, 6 months and 4 days.
Funeral at Birdsboro on Friday afternoon. Train leaves the Philadelphia and Reading depot at 9:35 A.M. Memorial services will be held in the Methodist Church, Coxestown, on Sunday morning at 10:30.

Isaac Fair is the grandson Marx/Marks Fair Revolutionary War Veteran d. 1792. and son of Kate Wolfe d.1825 and Daniel Fair, War of 1812 Veteran, b. 1786 d. 1868 Reading PA. Isaac is the great-grandson of Johannes Fahr aka John Fair/Fehr b. 1730 d. 1808 who immigrated from Germany in 1751. The grave site of Daniel is unknown. Isaac lived with daughter and son-in-law Charles Greenawalt in Dauphin County at the time of his death. He managed the farm owned by Charles Greenawalt. Isaac had two brothers, Reuben D.and George Washington Fair.
Isaac is my great-great grandfather. Isaac married Hannah Fegley 7 July 1844.
The day I found Isaac's grave I had no idea where he was buried. When I passed the Birsboro Cemetery I thought I might look around to see if any Fairs might be buried there. When I pulled up to the office, which was closed, I got out of my truck and there in front of me was Isaac's grave. I believe that Isaac brought me to his grave because he wanted to be found.
Sadly missed along life's way...quietly remembered everyday...no longer in our life to share...BUT in our hearts you're always there.
