Mrs. Stella Bond
MASON CITY (PNS) - Mrs. Stella Bond, 81, died at 12:15 a.m. Friday at the Menard Convalescent Home, Petersburg.
Her funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Conrad Funeral Home with the Rev. R. G. Marks officiating. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born March 1, 1886, in Mason City, a daughter of Samuel and Sabra Long Jones. She married Alvin Mulford in Aug. 1905. He died Oct. 8 1940. She later married Hal Bond Dec. 27, 1942, at Monroe, MO. He died Oct. 17 1957.
She is survived by a son, Arthur Mulford, San Jose; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Cloninger, Roodhouse; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bates, Mason City; Mrs. Cora Reynolds, Paradise, Calif.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors of America, the Rebekah Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.
