MASON CITY. —(PNS)—Alvin Luther Mulford, 59, of 813 West Chestnut street, died at 3:30 p. m Tuesday at his home. He had been ill for several months.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Mulford, a lifelong resident, was born Jan. 7, 1881 in Salt Creek township, the son of Jacob and Clarinda McCarty Mulford. He attended Mason county school and on Aug. 30, 1906, he married Miss Stella Jones of Mason City.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edna Cloninger of Mason City; one son, Arthur of New Holland; two sisters, Mrs. Orilla Martins, Pekin and Mrs. Effie Babbett, Des Moines, la.; two brothers, John of Berry and Norman of Mason City and four grandchildren.
Until the time of his illness, Mr. Mulford was employed as a section foreman on the Northwestern railroad.
