Kenneth L. Dietrich, 76,of Dallastown, entered into rest peacefully at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at York Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. Dietrich (Miller), to whom he was married to for 57 years. They would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on November 11.

Born March 9, 1932, in Dallastown, he was the son of the late Paul and Mabel Dietrich (Stump). He worked for Pit Man for 34 years and retired from Columbia Products in Dallastown. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of Spry.

Mr. Dietrich is also survived by his daughter, Debora J. Selvaggi of Manchester; a sister, Violet Descar and husband Bill of Dallastown; three brothers, Paul Dietrich and wife, Micleta of Dallastown, John Dietrich and wife, Judy of Philadelphia and Henry Dietrich and wife, Grace of York; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Lehman and husband, Steven of Mt. Wolf, Michael Dinges of York and James Glatfelter of Manchester; three great-grandchildren, Alicia, Alexis and Addison, all of Mt. Wolf; and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Burial will be in Blymire's Cemetery in Dallastown.
