COOKE, FRANCES EDNA - age 96 of Maynardville, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at home. Frances was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for the past 71 years. Preceded in death by: husband, Lee Roy Cooke parents, Milton C. Cook and Maude Graves Cook Barnes sisters, Maggie Monroe and Myrtle Porter brothers, Roy J. Cook and Ora F. Cook. Survived by children daughters, Mona Cooke Merle Wyrick, Marlene Yardley sons, Ronald (Tom) and daughter-in-law Berdie Cooke, and Glenn and daughter-in-law Ruth Cooke 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren sisters, Lavada Aker and Eleanor Howard brothers, Ralph Barnes and Milton C. Cooke, Jr. 6 nephews and 1 special niece, Joan Holloway. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 1 with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Cooke Mortuary. Reverend Vaughn Richardson and Reverend Matthew Cooke officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pleasant View Cemetery. Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville, TN.
