My 2nd-great grandmother, Jane Hulsey Waggoner, was the daughter of William Hulsey and Jeanette "Jane" Cooper of GA and great-granddaughter of James Hulsey who served in the American Revolution in the SC Militia under Col. Roebuck after the fall of Charleston. He later drew land in the 1827 GA land lottery as a Rev. Soldier. Jane married Isham Bailey Waggoner 17 Jan. 1822 in Hall Co., GA. They were the parents of: Lucinda, Dorcas, Frank, Metter Jane, Nora, Daniel, Henrietta, Katie. Jane died approx. one month after giving birth to my great-grandmother, Kate.
