Charles Floyd McNeill, age 85, passed away on January 1, 1990 in Salt Lake City of Alzheimer's Disease.


Born April 19, 1904 in Bakersfield, North Carolina to William Lincoln and Laura Alice Morgan McNeill. Married Edna Margaret Tea on April 17, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked for the Salt Lake Mill Company for many years. Active High Priest, having served three Stake Missions, worked in genealogy for many years, and served as First Counselor to three Bishops. He loved temple work and attended almost daily. He was a kind and gracious man and a true gentleman who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.


Survivors: wife, of Salt Lake City; two sons and a daughter by a previous marriage, Harold A. McNeill, of Murray, Utah, Charles W. McNeill, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs. Bonnie Smith, of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Mrs. Clifton (Lena) Gibbs, of Roswell, New Mexico; and two grandsons.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 1990 at 12 noon in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple Street, where friends may call on Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to services.
Interment: Riverton City Cemetery.
