Edward N. Rice Passes At Home

Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Edward Newton Rice, 61, who died at his home, 808 Fourth Avenue West, this morning.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. at the West Huntsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. Vernon Rich officiating.

Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, with Laughlin-Service Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving the local textile worker are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Herdis Skelton of Summerville, Ga.; four sons, Edward D. Rice of Columbia, Tenn., Kenneth D. Rice of Birmingham, Carlton D. Rice and Grantland Rice of Huntsville; two brothers, Grady Rice and George W. Rice of Huntsville; one sister, Mrs. Nell Martin of Trion, Ga.

Active pallbearers will be Alvin Collins, Melvin Collins, Howard Taylor, L. M. McGahee, Eddy Powers and Robert Luna.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Sutton, Herman Cantrell, E. W. Brandon, Dr. Fred Smith and Dr. Ellis Sparks.
