born April 17, 1913 in Harrisburg, Virginia, to the late John and Laura Boyers.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wilbur; brothers James and
Thomas Boyers. Thelma is survived by two sons and their wives: Richard (Lois)
and Charles (Terri) Havlin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7
great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives
and friends.
Thelma was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 56 years and attended the Residence
Park congregation. Her memorial service celebrating her life was held in the
Residence Park Kingdom Hall on June 26, 2006 with Odell Smith giving the
memorial discourse. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. She was greatly loved
and will be sadly missed by many.
