Services were held at the Congregational Church, Bagley, on Wednesday, July 10, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Myrtle Coyle, 85, resident of Shevlin Township, who died at the Bemidji Hospital July 6. The Rev. James C. Schreiber of Bemidji officiated with burial in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home, Bagley.
Born in Warsaw, Minnesota, January 22, 1883, Mrs. Coyle moved to the Becida area with her parents, George and Sara Hershey in 1899. She was married to Ed Coyle in Bemidji, August 16, 1900 and they moved to Butte, North Dakota, where Mrs. Coyle lived for 25 years, moving to Shevlin in 1935.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1924, a daughter, 4 sons, and 1 sister.
Survivors include a son, George Coyle of Bagley; a daughter, Mrs. Ed Sims (Etta) of Mills, Wyoming; 22 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Reuben Hershey, Shevlin and several great nephews and nieces.
