Adeline Colligan 1910-1998

Adeline Colligan, 88, of Bagley, died Thursday, November 26, 1998, at the Greensview Health Care Center in Bagley.
She was born May 8, 1910, at Raymond, Minnesota, the daughter of Lyle and Bertha (Kurtzbein) Rotzien. As a small child, she lived in Mallard with her parents. Her father cut logs at the buckboards. She was confirmed by Pastor Walter Clausen at Zion Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Later she moved to Bagley where she attended school and graduated in 1928. On January 28, 1933, she married Thomas Colligan at Bagley. They farmed together. Thomas died on May 27, 1973. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church Missouri Synod of Bagley.
Survivors include two sons, Lyle (Nancy) Colligan of Bagley, and Allen (Rose) Colligan of Mahnomen; one sister, Luella Colligan of Bagley; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Milton.
Funeral services were Monday, November 30, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bagley with Rev. Larry LaDassor officiating. Interment was at the Bagley City Cemetery with arrangements by the Cease Family Funeral Hoe of Bagley.
