Mrs. Ambrose (Maude Della) Bowser, 88, of 326 Cleveland St., West Kittanning, died at 11:57 a.m. Wednesday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 20 days. A life-long resident of this community, Mrs. Bowser was a member of First Baptist Church at Kittanning. Born Oct. 24, 1882 in Adrian, she was a daughter of Wyland and Catherine (Frick) Lasher. Her husband died in 1955. Surviving are a son, Felix of Kittanning RD 7; two brothers, Dr. L. A. Lasher of Erie, John H. Lasher of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Minerva Shaffer of Kittanning; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two sons, Frank and Edward, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary McCoy, are deceased. BOWSER — Friends of Mrs. Ambrose (Maude Della) Bowser, who died April 28, 1971, will be received at the Amberson C. Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, after 7 tonight. Visitation hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Daniel P. Abrams, pastor of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Bauer.
