Juliana Wendel, 82, 4679 St. Anthony Rd., Celina, died Wednesday at 10:45 p.m. at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home. She was born November 18, 1905, in St. Rose, daughter of Anthony and Philomena (Holdheide) Westerheide. She was married in St. Rose to Stanley Wendel, who died in November 1970. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Wilfred (Jean) Marchal, Celina, Gerald, Coldwater, and Thomas, St. Henry; 20 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Stella Seitz, Coldwater. A son, Ralph, a brother and four sisters are deceased. Mrs. Wendel was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar sodality. She also was a member of the St. Monica Ladies Sodality of Carthagena. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Keith Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Carthagena. Friends may call at Hogenkamp's Funeral Home, Coldwater, Sunday 2-9 p.m. and Monday until the hour of services.
