Abraham was born 1821 in Pennsylvania. He married Anna Mary Ziegler August 23, 1840. They appear in the 1860 census, living in East Hanover Twp., Lebanon, PA. There is a boarder living with them, Mary Wagoner, born abt 1877. Ten years later she's still with them, but is named Anna Wagner, who was Anna Mary Ziegler's previously remarried mother.

I have Abraham and Anna Mary's children as:

Mary Ann Clay 1842–24
Elizabeth Clay 1844–1910(?)
John Henry Z Clay 1845–1910
Amos Clay 1851-1855
David Zachariah Zeigler Clay 1854–1923

Abraham is said to be the son of Adam Clay and Elizabeth (Maiden name unknown).
However, I have no documentation of this.

Text: Philip. 1.23
--------------------

(Phillipians 1:21-23, "21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:")
