The funeral of Miss Ann Celestia Silver was held from the home of her brother, Alonzo, last Thursday conducted by Elder E. P. Graves and her remains were interred in the Exeter cemetery.
Her death occurred at her home in Carbondale, Kansas on the 5th inst. She was 61 years, 8 months and 5 days old.
Miss Silver was born in Mercer County, Pennsylvania on July 15, 1844 and came to Green County with her parents in 1845. She resided on the homestead in Mt. Pleasant until 1896 when she went to Kansas to live with her sister.
