Ruby Mae Charlton
Services for Ruby Mae (Garrett) Charlton, 93, of Minco, were held Monday, August 9, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Minco with Rev. Ralph McDaniel and Rev. Wes Warren on the Assembly of God Church in Minco, officiating. She is buried at Hazel Dell Cemetery in Minco.
Ruby was born November 21, 1905 in Indian Territory, Springcreek area and died on August 5, 1999, at Chickasha.
She lived in the Minco and Pocassett areas all of her life and married Corbit "Ray" Charlton, December 29, 1922 in Chickasha, Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Springcreek Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Jefferson and Laura Belle (Martin) Garrett; her husband, Corbit "Ray" Charlton December 26, 1977; one granddaughter, Evelyn White; one son-in-law, Enis Anthony; and one sister, Etta Wilson.
Ruby is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws, Walter and Virginia Charlton, Conn and Nancy Charlton, and Cecil and Nell Charlton all of Minco; three daughters and sons-in law, Ruth and Edward Hall of Oklahoma City, Myrtle and Marion Hey of Wynette, OK. and Alma Anthony of Cordell, OK; one brother Lawrence Garrett, Mansfield, TX; four sisters, Goldie Hall of Stillwater, Clara Coe of Stillwater, Margie Olson of Ft. Worth , TX. and Rachel Garrett of Tuttle, OK; 20 grandchildren; 51 Great grandchildren; and 14 great great grand children.
