Mrs. Mary Marietta (Breakall) Barnhart, Star Route, Hancock. died yesterday evening of complications at The War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, W. Va. She was 81 years of age.

She was the widow of P. H. Barnhart, who died May 2, 1959.

Born in Fulton County. Penna., she was the daughter of the late John and Lucinda (Myers) Barnhart [sic should be Brakeall].

She was a member of the Zion Methodist Church, Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Ida B. Wills, Mrs. Cora M. Smith, Mrs. Alma L. Fisher, all of the Hancock area, and Miss Margaret L. Barnhart, near Baltimore; sons, Howard M., Berkeley Springs, W. Va., and Curtis E., Hancock; 25 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Brief services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.. with further services at the Tonoloway Baplist Church, near Hancock, at 2 p.m., the Reverend Michael Horst officiating. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
