Mrs. Osa G. Anderson

Services for Mrs. Osa G. Anderson, 78, Wilmington, who dies at Clinton Memorial Hospital at 11:15 A.M. Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage, were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Marsh Funeral Home by the Rev. Dale Watson with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Pike County April 10, 1892, the daughter of Gideon and Mary Copeland Van Meter. Her husband, George W., whom she married Oct. 31, 1908, died Nov. 12, 1961.

Surviving are three sons, Adron and Virgil (Duck) of Wilmington and William of Sugartree Ridge; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy N. Dunn and Mrs. Wilma Hilterbran, both of Wilmington, two half-brothers, Claude Herdman of Washington C.H. and Russell Herdman of Locust Grove; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
