Claude S. Herdman, 83, of 433 Warren Ave., died at 7:11 p.m. Friday in Fayette County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient one hour.
Mr. Herdman had lived in Washington C.H. for forty years, having moved here from Peebles. He worked at the former API plant in Washington C.H. and was employed with the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Washington C.H. and Circleville for more than 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Shoemaker Herdman; a son, Wray Vaughn Herdman, of Waycross, Ga.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, Clem and Mary Copeland Herdman, a brother and a sister.
