Francis Wendel, 60, Ingalls, died in the Veterans Hospital, Wichita, Friday night as a result of burns he received Nov. 10.
He was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Belpre. He came to Ingalls in 1930 and has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Warfield. He was a retired farmer.
He is a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Ingalls. He served in W.W.II.
Survivors include brothers: John, Ingalls; Martin, Cimarron; sisters: Mrs Lena Remmert, Mrs. Marie Bouchard, both of Denver; Mrs. Sophia Schauf, Mrs. Dolores Miller, Esther Wendel, Cimarron; Mrs. Lillian Dreiling, Dodge City.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Evans Chapel, Cimarron. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Church; Fr. George Heinzen. Burial will be in Cimarron Cemetery.
