Graveside service for Edward Kissler were Friday at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.
Edward died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at his home at the age of 79.
The son of Henry and Kathrine Marie (Zeiler) Kissler was born March 25, 1929, in Colorado, He grew up outside of Greely.
Edward joined the US Army and served in Korea. On June 12,1955, Edward married Virginia "Ginger" Williams in Denver, Colorado. They lived in Midland, Texas before moving to Inola in 1968. Edward worked at Farm Bureau for over 40 years, retiring as district manager, He enjoyed watching sports, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons: Ron and Bret Kissler; Brothers: Dan, Sam, and Dave Kissler; sisters: Lydia Wrigt, and Fredia and Rachel; and grandchildren: Cassie, Coltan and Caleb Kissler and special friend, Tammy Wise.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Fred, Hank, Harold, Maria and Lottie.
