Mr. Nutley was born near Fort Klamath, Ore., and had been a resident of the Yakima area the past 51 years. He was a retired roadmaster for the Northern Pacific Railway Co.
Mr. Nutley was active in Boy Scout work for several years. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for many years he and Mrs. Nutley were active in youth work in the church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorena Nutley of Yakima; two sons, Jack of Yakima, and Van of Othello; a daughter, Mrs. John S. (Nancy) Mayor of Yakima; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth De Young of Seal Beach, Calif."
