---Henry Albert Joiner of La Plata died Monday afternoon Feb. 13, in the hospital at Macon. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Christie Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Claude Thompson. Interment was in La Plata Cemetery.
---The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Joiner, he was born at Union, Missouri April 5, 1870, passing away at the age of 79 years, 10 months, 8 days. In 1903 he was married to Hattie Maud Baldwin, who died July 2, 1943.
---Surviving children are Edward of St. Louis; Clay of Macon; Foster of Adel, Iowa; Mrs. Edna Wright of Waukee, Iowa; and Mrs. Pauline Long of Denver, Colorado; there is also one brother, Tom of Plano, Iowa.
