A former resident of Palo, Orva C. Beach, 84, who made his home at 716 South Pleasant Street in Belding for the past five years, died Saturday June 4, 1977 at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Born in Palo, March 12, 1893 son of Clarence and Bertha Hendrick Beach, he lived most of his life in the Palo and Orleans areas, but made his home in recent years in Belding.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the United States Army.
Survivors include; a son; Clarence of Orleans; a daughter, Mrs. Delmer (Evelyn Warner of Belding; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Myrtie Bailey of Ronald Township. Services will be Tesday at 3 P.M. from Leddick Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Palo Cemetery.
Bearers - Richard Warner, Denny Zander, Gene Face, Arnold Warner, Fredrick Lange and Fred Cooper.
Married Anna Barbara Seidelman August 25, 1920.
