Son of James & Louisa (Graves) Page.
Became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in England in 1850.
Came to America in 1856 on the ship, Enoch.
Made his trek to Utah as a member of the Willie Handcart Company.
Arrived in Salt Lake City on Thanksgiving Day 1856.
1857 was a member of the Daniel H. Wells Company in Echo Canyon.
Served as a rider for the Pony Express serving between Salt Lake City & Fort Bridger.
Among his many experiences as a rider for the Pony Express included a record trip in which he carried Abraham Lincoln's inaugural speech to the West.
At the end of the Pony Express era he resided in Bountiful, Utah.
Married Mary Ann Clark on March 24, 1863.
Father of 11 children. Avildia, George, Rose Ellen, Mary Anne, Jane, Bill, Lousia, John Henry, Amilia, Caroline, & Mable.
Numerous monuments & plaques throughout Utah carry his name.
