Born Nov. 24, 1925, in Bloomfield, he was the son of Floyd Y. and Verna (Drake) Abrams.
Mr. Abrams was a World War II Army veteran, and a 33-year member of Local 669, Sprinkler Fitter's Union. He was also a member of the International Order of Foresters, Carthage Old Fashion Coon Hunters and American Coon Hunters Association. Mr. Abrams worked at J.A. House Fire Protection Co., Indianapolis, before retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his wife Geneva (Thatcher) Abrams; daughter, Patty Abrams, Sandy Woods, Sherry Apple, Kathy Samuelson; sons, Gary Frank Abrams, Rick Abrams, Kevin Abrams; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Gretchen Abrams, and Weona Eliza Cooper.
Entombment Monday, in Washington Park East Cemetery.
