Charles Madison,aged 69 years,died
yesterday morning at 11:00 o'clock at his
home, 1812 twelfth street of lung trouble.
He leaves a wife and three daughters.
Mrs Anna Gibler, Mrs Tillie Hanson
and Miss Ida Madison. The funeral will
be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from
the Danish Baptist church and interment
will be at Fairview.

His name was Carl Magnusen when he lived in Denmark. He changed it whem he came to America.

According to cemetery records, Charles is buried on this hillside which has eroded and slid. He and his wife Sene are buried next to the small headstone in the picture. It belongs to their grandson. (Gibler)

Son of Magnus Aarlund(Erland) and Ingrid. He married 19 May, 1867, in Vor, Hjorring, Denmark. Husband of Jensine Christine Andersdatter. Born in Falkenborg, Sweden.
