Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 24, 1973, at 2:00 P.M. from the Arnold First Bapstist Church for Lillie Claudson, who passed away on Thursday, November 22, at North Platte, Nebraska.
Rev. Carl Malmgren officiated at the services.
Mr. Everett Platt sang "The End Of A Perfect Day" and "Good Night and Good Morning" accompanied by Mrs. Gerald Harter at the organ.
Bearers were Thomas Claudson, William Claudson, Keith Claudson, Kenneth Claudson, William Barker, Duane Romans, Richard Barker and David Barker.
Interment was in the Arnold Cemetery with Quiq and Tickle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Lillie Evelena Smith, daughter of Andrew J. and Elizabeth Smith was born January 22, 1884 at Assumption, Illinois.
She passed away at Memorial Hospital, North Platte, Nebraska on November 22, 1973 at the age of 89 years, 10 months.
When she was a child she came with her parents to Nebraska and settled on Garfield Table where the family helped pioneer that community.
On October 3, 1901, she was married to Luther M. Claudson and settled on Garfield Table farming for many years before moving to Arnold in 1923.
To this union four children were born, all of whom survive their beloved mother.
Her husband passed away on March 4, 1947 at Arnold. She continued to live in Arnold in good health, taking an active part in various activities of church, clubs, community and the welfare of hr family.
She is survived by her children; Loyal M. and Charles B. of Arnold; Leverne E. of Vancouver, Washington; and Effie Coleman of North Platte, Nebraska. There are eight grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many nephews and nieces as well as many others to whom she was affectionately known as Aunt Lil, who will miss her greatly.
