Ella Irene Miller, 62, of Munnsville, New York, died October 4, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a sudden illness.
Services were held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Madison Mennonite Church in Madison, New York. Burial was in the Madison Mennonite Cemetery.
Ella Irene Miller was born September 4, 1946 in Kalona, Iowa, the daughter of Earl J. and Mary (Bender) Beachy. On September 12, 1968 she was united in marriage to Alvin Miller in Kalona. They lived in Kalona until 1977 when they moved to Wisconsin. In 1994 they moved to New York. She was a faithful member of the Madison Mennonite Church in Madison, New York.
She is survived by her husband Alvin Miller of Munnsville; nine children, Marlin Dale and wife Miriam Miller of Clarkston, Kentucky, Richard and wife Mary Miller of Madison, New York, Duane Lee and wife Laura Miller of Munnsville, Ruth Ann and husband Luke Coblentz of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Nelson Ray and wife Laura Miller of Dixon, Tennessee, Regina Rose Miller of Munnsville, Lorene and husband Marvin Stoltzfus of Madison, New York, Matthew Miller of Munnsville and Eldon Miller of Munnsville; 27 grandchildren; her father Earl J. Beachy of Kalona; two brothers, Emery Lewis Beachy of Richmond, Missouri, and Morris Earl Beachy of Kalona; two sisters, Judy Mae Kauffmann of Smyrna Mills, Maine and Sylvia Jane Miller of Kalona.
She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother Eldon Beachy and a grandson Jeffrey Miller.
