JACOB C. KUYKENDALL
Jacob C. (Jake) Kuykendall, 87, a resident of Billings for 50 years, died at 9:20 o'clock last night at Mercy Hospital, where he had been a patient for about four months.
Mr. Kuykendall had operated bakeries and grocery stores in Republic, Marionville and Billings. He was born on a farm at Linn Creek, now under the waters of the Lake of the Ozarks. For the past 34 years Mr. Kuykendall made his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. A Graves, 2331 Luster Boulevard. Mr. Kuykendall was a lifelong Methodist.
Other survivors include two sons, Floyd of Salem, Mo., near St. Louis, and Cecil of Dallas, Tex., another daughter. Mrs. Francis Roberts of the state of Washington; a sister. Mrs. Mattie Carr of Republic and four grandchildren.
Services will be under direction of Harris of Billings.
