Miss Fannie Doswell, the only daughter of Major J. Temple Doswell, died Saturday at 12:45 at her father's house in this city, in the 50th year of her age, after a long and painful sickness.
Miss Doswell will be mourned and regretted by her large circle of friends and relatives, to whom she was greatly endeared by her bright and lively disposition and her lovely character.
The funeral services were held at St. George's Church in this city at 1 o'clock Monday, Rev. Wm. M. Clark, the rector, conducting the services.
The following were the pall-bearers: Jas. S. Knox, David S. Forbes, John B. Berry, Wm. B. Marye, Jenifer Barton and J. Stansbury. The Free Lance - Jan. 9, 1894.
