Elvia McCright, age 87 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away October 4, 2008 in Oregon. Mrs. McCright was born February 28, 1921 in New Boston, Texas. She was a Homemaker, a member of the Green Community Christian Missionary Alliance and is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Jack McCright and a son, David Lenoy McCright.
Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Lorena and Jim O'Brien of San Dimas, California, two sons and one daughter in law, Kenneth and Mary O'Brien of Roseburg, Oregon, Timothy McCright of Roseburg, Oregon, three sisters, Verlene Burns, of New Boston, Texas, Maurice Haggard of Cleveland, Texas, Ima Jane Hartsell of Houston, Texas, one brother, James Burns of New Boston, Texas, her grandchildren, Paul O'Brien and wife Sheryl of Oak Hills, California, Cyndi and husband Robert Gonzalez of Glendora, California, Jennifer and husband Larry Mole of Fresco, California, Ryan McCright of Roseburg, Oregon, Great Grandchildren, Merissa O'Brien of Victorville, California, Seth O'Brien of Oak Hills, California, Matthew and Mitchell Mole of Fresno, California, Elizabeth Gonzalez of Glendora, California, numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2008 in the Old Salem Cemetery, New Boston with Bro. Paul Beard officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Friday, October 10, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Old Salem Cemetery, New Boston under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston.
