PAYSON--Heber John Curtis died at the family home Tuesday morning, following a lingering illness.

He was born January 10, 1856, a son of Joseph and Sarah Ann Reed Curtis. He married Sarah Elizabeth Winward forty years ago.

Surviving are his widow and seven children: Mrs. Leonard Steineckert, Mrs. H. L. Douglas, LeCell and H. Willis Curtis, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Harold Dawson, Payson; Mrs. C. L. Wright, Magna; eighteen grandchildren and six brothers and sisters: N. T. Curtis, Payson; F. R Curls.
Richfield; J. H. Curtis, Fifth. Idaho; Mrs. Zelpha Hancock, Raymond, Canada; Mrs. Sarah Jane Kempton, Eden, Arizona.

PAYSON -- Funeral services for Heber John Curtis, who died Tuesday following a long illness, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Fourth Ward Chapel. The body may be viewed Thursday afternoon and Friday prior to services. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
